The couch Chuck is so great with kids. He is making a fun and safe environment where the kids not only learn self-defense but also important values like discipline, respect, and confidence.

Amazing!!! We have our son training with Chuck in the kids class and he absolutely loves it! This is the first class/sport that we have signed him up for that he truly looks forward to! He’s learning so much more that fighting. He’s learning respect, he’s learning confidence, he’s learning a life style. I highly recommend

Review for Altus Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
I cannot speak highly enough of Altus Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the incredible Professor Paulo. From the moment I stepped onto the mat, his welcoming attitude and warmth made me feel like part of a family. In a world where life can often get chaotic, Altus has been my safe haven.
Since I began my jiu jitsu journey here, I’ve always felt a strong sense of belonging, even during times when I had to be away from work. Despite there being jiu jitsu schools closer to my home, I wouldn’t dream of training anywhere else. Altus is more than just a school; it truly is a family.
Every class is an opportunity to challenge ourselves and strive to be the best we can be. Professor Paulo is not only an exceptional teacher but also a source of motivation. On days when you are feeling down or overwhelmed, he has an incredible knack for cheering you up and lifting spirits.
I wholeheartedly give Altus 5 stars and look forward to continuing my training here for as long as this amazing school is around. If you’re looking for a place to grow, learn, and feel at home, Altus is the place to be!

I would recommend this gym to fighters of all levels. The coaches are knowledgeable and professional. Hope to return soon.
I have been training at Altus jiu jitsu for a year and half and I can honestly say it’s been life changing, my only regret is I didn’t start earlier. The professors are all amazing and have helped my skill level increase very quickly. If you have been thinking about starting bjj don’t wait another day you won’t regret it!
