Adult Class Policy
Effective immediately, children are not permitted to attend or be present during adult classes, even if they are enrolled in our kids’ programs.
Safety Concerns
The foremost reason for this policy is the safety of your children. Adult BJJ classes involve advanced techniques, intense physical activity, and scenarios that are designed specifically for mature participants. The pace and complexity of these classes are not suitable for younger individuals. Having children present increases the risk of accidental injuries, which we are committed to preventing.
Liability Issues
From a legal standpoint, allowing children in adult classes poses significant liability risks. In the unfortunate event that a child is injured during an adult session, it could result in serious legal implications for both the family and the academy. Our insurance policies and safety regulations are structured around age-specific classes to mitigate such risks.
Learning Environment
Adult classes are designed to provide a focused and distraction-free environment for serious training. The presence of children can be a distraction for both instructors and participants, potentially hindering the learning experience. We strive to maintain a professional atmosphere where all students can concentrate fully on improving their skills.
Commitment to Excellence
Our goal at Altus Jiu-Jitsu Academy is to provide the highest quality training experience while ensuring the well-being of all our students. By adhering to this policy, we can maintain a safe, efficient, and professional environment for everyone involved.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
